E3 Dark Souls 2 banner gives away release date window

If you’re a publisher and you want to keep a release date a secret the best idea would be to not place a giant banner on top of the L.A Convention Center prior to E3 starting.

Dark Souls 2 is one game we were super excited to hear about when it was revealed but so far a release date has eluded us. One keen photo-snapper in downtown L.A spotted the massive Namco Bandai Dark Souls 2 banner which features a rough release date of March 2014.

For PC gamers it doesn’t really matter when it comes out but for console gamers who will already be playing with the PS4 and Xbone by the time it releases, they’ll be wondering if the game will be exclusive to the new consoles.
