Elite Dangerous fund raising ending soon – Mac version now confirmed

In the past 48 hours Frontier Developments have seen their Kickstarter Elite Dangerous fund balance swell as they head toward the end of the fund raising period.

Today they reached their stretch goal which will see a release of a Mac version of the game three months after the PC version releases. The next stretch goal is the addition of ten new ships to the game and this goal should be reached before the fund raising closes in around seven hours time.

Braben admits he was “anxious” at reaching the goal and he certainly appears a happier chap in the latest developer video in which he discusses shields.
