EU players hoping to get in on the planned beta invite push this month will have to wait a little longer, as Bioware announces a delay.
According to a post on the official Star Wars: The Old Republic forums, there are two primary reasons for holding off on EU invites.
Firstly, a new (27GB) build is said to be nearly complete. By delaying invites, players can start afresh with this version, rather than having to re-download another 27GB and begin with a new character when it’s released.
In addition, the new version will include French and German language options, allowing players who speak those languages to give feedback on the translation work.
No new date has yet been set for when the invitations will be going out, but Bioware insist that “this batch of invites will happen”.
