The Evil Within’s latest screens are eerily pretty

A new batch of screens for The Evil Within have been released, and they look markedly nicer than usual.

I think I’ve mentioned before that I was hoping the PC version of the Shinji Mikami’s latest scare-’em-up would look a bit nicer than the graphical offerings of the latest trailer, and if we can take these screenshots at face value, that wish might just come true. The four shots (which you can see below) are, for the most part, do look rather nice. You’ve got a giant monster leaping out of water, and a couple of shots of protagonist Castellanos’ bum, and another pic of the dreaded Boxman.

The Evil Within will be unleashed on 29 August.
