Don’t hit me Geralt, I just want to see some gameplay footage.

Like many in the games industry, The Witcher 3 developers CD Projekt Red will be at Gamescom in Cologne. As part of that event, the team will be running live gameplay demonstrations at 30 minute intervals throughout the 13-17 August period.

Of course, not everybody will be able to make it to Germany. So CD Projekt plan to release some (or perhaps all, it’s not really clear) of that gameplay footage to the outside world as well.

“Starting next week we will be revealing that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay footage all of you have been asking about, so be sure to keep your eyes glued to our website and social media,” the announcement states.

This could be the same gameplay footage that was apparently shown during San Diego’s ComicCon.

If you do happen to be in Cologne at Gamescom, there’ll be the chance to win some prizes at the Witcher booth (Hall 7.1, Aisle B, No. 32). T-shirts and “other goodies” will be on offer, particularly if you show up dressed as a character from the series.
