Fallout 4 PC beta patch 1.2.37 now available

Bethesda have put out another mini beta patch for the PC version of Fallout 4. Like the previous release, it’s not a huge list of fixes and changes, and is once again an ‘opt-in’ update.

Here’s what it reportedly alters. If you like what you read here, instructions (if needed) for opting into the beta patch are below.

Beta Update 1.2.37

New Features

  • General memory and stability improvements.
  • Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant.
  • Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals.

Would be nice if they were a little bit more specific about “general” improvements, but there we go. If you want to get this Fallout 4 beta patch, then find the game in your Steam library, right-click the name, navigate to Properties, find the ‘Beta’ tab, and then select the desired option from the drop-down menu. Fallout 4 should then update automatically to the latest available version (you can also roll back by opting out again).

Try restarting Steam if the update doesn’t ‘take’ right away. Bethesda recommend that saved games be backed up before trying the beta, as it’s a work in progress.
