With the China Rising DLC already revealed as a pre-order bonus for the Battlefield 4, EA and DICE are already touting the second DLC which goes by the name of Second Assault. Rather annoyingly this DLC will be released to Xbox One gamers first.
The contents of the DLC remains vague but we do know it includes four fan-favorite maps from Battlefield 3. These mystery maps are being reworked to take advantage of the new Frostbite 3 engine and the game’s new multiplayer features.
So what are the maps? Nobody knows, but as MP1st points out from a recent Q&A with gameplay designerAlan Kertz, firm favs are Metro and Caspian.
These two maps may never appear in the DLC but at least it’s some sort of info. No doubt we’ll hear more about the mystery maps in the coming weeks.
