In honour of the impending release of Dark Souls 2, Namco Bandai have commissioned a comic – titled Into the Light – with two pages being released for free every week until its console launch on 14 March. Yes, console launch. No, we still don’t have a date for the PC launch; all we know is that it will “follow shortly.”

Anyway! Today marks the launch of the first two pages, which you can view over on – shudder – the Facebook page for the game. Just click here to find the front page, some teaser images, and said first two pages, which involve two chaps chatting around a fire. I suspect it will get a bit more chaotic soon.

I haven’t died while reading the comic yet, but this is Dark Souls. Give it time.
