Football Manager 2012 due before Christmas

The word from management sim supremos Sports Interactive is that Football Manager 2012 should be out by Christmas. The same could be said of a few real football managers.
Claiming a terrifying 800 new features, Sports Interactive say (no … but yes!) that this latest edition of the mega-series will be “the most realistic, immersive and playable football management simulation ever”. Well, obviously.
That means improvements and changes to transfers and player contracts (loyalty bonuses), scouting (a new in-game report), the 3D match engine (video of that, below), “tone” (better team talks and conversations) and the overall user interface (customisable features, plus a full tutorial for newbies).
Football Manager 2012 has only been announced for the PC at present, but previous versions have also come to mobile devices so that may be the case again.
