Developer BetaDwarf return to the gaming world with Forced 2: The Rush.

Forced was a nifty puzzle ARPG which was plagued with issues when it launched, especially when it came to multiplayer connectivity. It was such a problem for us that we had to give up on trying to review it.

There is however a new Forced coming called Forced 2: The Rush which sounds a little different from the original. This is a “Rogue-like sequel” which features randomly generated “death courses” pitting the gladiators against deadly traps and monsters. Players will build a “deck of supporting gadgets” then enter the course and each player will be trying to become a survivor.

Steffen Kabbelgaard, CEO of BetaDwarf added:

“From our meager beginnings as a passionate development studio with the drive to survive, we are excited to now announce that we are working on the next iteration of our flagship title, FORCED. FORCED 2: The Rush is an innovative sequel that offers Rogue-like competitions, deck building, and tight action controls!

The slight change in direction sounds like a good idea, the original was enjoyable enough but was a mish-mash of genres that never quite gelled.
