Frosty reception: Batman meets Mr Freeze in Arkham City

The latest villain to get his own Batman: Arkham City trailer is none other than Mr Freeze.
Sadly (well … maybe not so sadly), Rocksteady has chosen not to follow the go-to template for this character: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s towering portrayal in Batman & Robin. So don’t hold out too much hope for any dialogue along the lines of “Stay cool Batman, while I put you … on ice!”
A shame, I know.
Instead, it seems Dr Victor Fries is back to being a man driven beyond the point of obsession by the need to keep his wife alive through some sort of cryogenic process. Sure, it makes for a more moving story – but think of the ice puns! The poor, neglected ice puns.
Batman: Arkham City is coming in October to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
