Games for Windows LIVE Version 3 Released

The new version of Games for Windows LIVE has now been released by Microsoft.With it comes the addition of the In-Game Marketplace feature. This will allow you to purchase and download expansion packs and content within the game itself, without having to exit.The service also adds an in-game account management tool, allowing you to add Microsoft Points to your account along with the ability to redeem codes, change Gamertags and add or edit credit card details.Microsoft has also introduced new anti-piracy protection, including the zero day piracy protection which keep games from launching until the release date has passed. Also, server-side authentication has been included which links your Gamertag to the game’s license meaning that as long as you use your Gamertag you can install the game on any PC.Head to the official site to download the new version.
