Shiny Loot, a new digital distribution platform for indie titles, has just entered beta testing. If you want to be one of the early adopters and take a look around the site, you’ll need a special activation code.

As luck would have it, IncGamers is one such place that can provide you with that code.

To access to the Shiny Loot beta, register an account at the site and use the code incgamers15beta in the “invitation code” box. Then wait for an activation email, activate your account and sign in with your chosen username and password.

It’s a universal code, so it should work for everyone. However, be aware that “because [the codes are] unlimited we may need to pause registration intermittently pending popularity as we’ll be testing server capacity to provide a good, long-term user experience.”

The new digital platform is opposed to the vast majority of DRM systems, and has a special ‘trait’ system to help you narrow down a specific game-type when searching the site.

For more details about the service, have a read of our interview with Shiny Loot’s Chris Palmarozzi.
