If you want some free games, it might pay to keep an eye on GOG.com throughout today.

The digital distribution site which focuses on older and more unique games is calling today a “24-hour Adrenaline Rush”, with 30 flash sales at a time. That said, some of those flash sales are going to be three-hour offers for completely free games, but you’re going to have to pay careful attention to spot them among the rest of the titles up there.

For instance! Right now, Haemimont’s Omerta: City of Gangsters is completely free, and will remain that way for the next hour. You’ll have to find the bloody thing in the huge pile of sales, though, which may actually take a little longer than expected. This isn’t like the previous giveaway where the free games had a huge banner pointing them out, I’m afraid.

As such, you might want to check GOG – at the very least – every three hours or so, to make sure you’re not missing any freebies. If there are any particularly massive titles being given away I’ll let you know through the medium of Another News Story, but otherwise, I’m afraid you’re on your own.
