“Run! It’s the Salepocalypse!”
In the land of PC, the summer sales season never ends. For today and tomorrow (28 July,) digital store ShinyLoot has money off titles published by Nordic Games. That means cheap copies of the Gothic RPG series, plus money off games like King Art’s The Book of Unwritten Tales and the Painkiller FPS titles.
Pick of this bunch (if you like lengthy, unguided RPGs) would probably be the Gothic Complete Collection at $6.25 USD. In this set you get the first three Gothic titles, plus Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods. No Gothic 4 though. If you were hoping for that one, it’s available as a stand-alone for $5.00 USD.
Both The Book of Unwritten Tales and The Critter Chronicles are $6.25 USD apiece, if you fancy some fantastical point and click adventures. Should you prefer to just shoot at stuff (a lot of stuff,) Painkiller: Black Edition is there for $2.50 USD.
