Groups added to StarCraft 2 Battle.Net

Recommended Videos

Blizzard has already gone over the clan features in Battle.net and now they are taking a look at a new feature called groups which are similar to clans with a few differences.

The new group feature is a lot less restrictive in functionality, for example there is no limit to the max number of members in a group and a group can also be made public.

The idea behind the group feature is to encourage community building inside the Batte.Net interface, and with the ability to join as many as you like, there will no doubt be groups popping up for just about every topic you can  imagine.

It’s taking some time to get there but Blizzard are starting to realise their vision for Battle.Net, and when Heart of the Swarm launches, at least it will have all the new features.
