GSC Game World closing [updated]

[Update] The latest word on this appears to pretty much confirm the closure. A blog post from Sergey Galakin, of Ukraine’s publisher 1C Company, states “GSC is closed, a fact confirmed by all.  The team is almost completely dissolved”.
He also states that he may “not have all the data”, so this isn’t a total confirmation. However, it does not look good for the developer.
The original story follows below:
It has come to light that developer GSC Gameworld has closed its doors.
According to Ukrainian news site UkraNews, the owner Sergei Grigorovich decided to pull the plug on GSC Game World  and the development team were notified today.
Apparently Ukrainian authorities wanted to take control of the company (this could be lost in translation from the news report) and that Sergei was not happy with the direction S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 was taking.
There has also been a number of Tweets concerning the closure so Twitter is awash with rumours at the moment.
There is still to be some sort of official confirmation made.
Thanks NeoGaf.
