The IncGamers 2013 Readers’ Awards are live, come vote for the year’s best PC games

2013 Readers' Awards

It’s that time of the year when a gamer’s thoughts turn to annual awards. Rather than have us dictate to you the super-best-amazing PC titles of 2013, we’d rather you told us. The IncGamers 2013 Readers’ Awards are now live, and ready to receive the wisdom of the crowd through the medium of democratic choice.

We’ve done our best to divide up many of the year’s finest games into their respective genre boxes, though on occasion the nebulous nation of videogame genres has made this a bit difficult. That’s why we have categories with names like ‘Third Person Action Thingy’ and ‘Genre Defying.’ We’ve avoided having an “Indie” category this year, because we believe that independent titles can stand up against so-called ‘AAA’ releases just fine. To that end, you’ll find games from indies and major publishers rubbing shoulders across all categories.

In recognition of the huge growth in crowd-funded titles on PC, we’ve also introduced an award for the best crowd-funded game brought to release in 2013.

If you don’t agree with the selections we’ve offered you in a given category, or think there’s been a glaring omission, then make use of the ‘Other’ box to do a write-in vote for your game of choice. If we get any particularly good/funny ones, we’ll mention them when we announce the overall winners on 23 December.

As we get closer to Christmas, the IncGamers staff will also be sharing a few of our own personal favourites of the year in individual articles. But the year’s best will be decided by you, the readers. So get on over there, get voting and share it with others so that the voting pool is as large as possible!
