Just Cause 2’s Black Market DLC Announced

Square Enix has announced two new DLC packs for Just Cause 2.The first, titled the Black Market Aerial Pack, is due out next week on 29 April, while the Black Market Boom Pack will hit later on 25 May.Why does this DLC sound amazing, as mentioned in the tagline? The Black Market Aerial Pack first. This pack is for airborne agents, and who doesn’t want to be one of them? Pick that up, and you’ll get access to an F-33 Dragon Fly Jet Fighter complete with twin missiles and quad-mounted miniguns; a multi-lock missile launcher that can auto-lock on up to four targets; and parachute dual thrusters, which we suspect we saw in this video. These little beasts are parachute-mounted jets that will let you float about to your heart’s content. The Black Market Boom Pack isn’t without its own brand of destructive amusement, though. That’ll contain a quad rocket launcher described as “half shotgun, half rocket launcher”; a cluster bomb launcher, which does exactly what it says on the tin; and an air propulsion gun, described as a “jet-powered blast weapon, powerful enough to send vehicles and soldiers skywards.”If you’re like us and you want more physics-based carnage and more manoeuvrability in your Just Cause 2 then you’ll probably be want to pick these up. Each pack will be available on Xbox LIVE, the PlayStation Network and Steam for the prices of 160 Microsoft Points, or €1.99 EUR/$1.99 USD.If you haven’t picked up Just Cause 2 and this DLC announcement hasn’t sold you on the concept, you could do with looking at our review.
