Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools Released

Valve has announced it will be releasing the official campaign authoring tools and add-on support.The release of these tools will mean players will be able to create custom campaigns to play, pretty good fun if you’re a L4D2 fan.Those of you who are interested in creating your own levels, then you’ll need to download both authoring tools and add-on support. According to Valve, the whole package is very similar to that of the first game, but there are some new features including Gamemode Logic; which changes the map depending on the game mode, Director Logic; which changes the behaviour of the AI director and a Scavenge Mode Support pack.For players who aren’t that interested in designing levels, but are more interested in playing games their mates have made, then you’ll need to install the add-on support package only.
