LEGO Universe: New Features Coming To The Beta

The LEGO Universe team has announced that a number of new features are winging their way to the game’s closed beta test.

Those lucky enough to be part of the test can look forward to in-game racing competitions, and the much anticipated opening of Forbidden Valley, where we’ll learn more about the LEGO Universe ninjas. There will also be several inspiration surges surrounding properties.

These new activities will join other recent additions such as the ability to join a Nexus Force faction. Players can choose from Assembly, Venture League, Sentinels or Paradox, then customize their minifigure with new gear as they rise in the ranks. More can be learned about each faction’s unique strengths by first speaking with the Nexus Force recruiter in Nimbus Station. There’s also trading, pet taming and the new Gnarled Forest racetrack to try out.

If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check out the cinematic trailer over on IGTV.
