Let’s get high: SkyDrift announced

Digital Reality (also behind Dead Block) have announced SkyDrift, an arcade-based air combat title.
It looks kind of like Wipeout crossed with a linear dogfight (yes, this is one of those racing games where you also collect powerups and blow people away). Six different offensive and defensive powerups, in fact.
“Exotic locations” will be visited, in one of eight different aircrafts (which can also be customised in various aesthetic ways).
SkyDrift will be a downloadable title, available through Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and digital PC outlets.
