Microsoft spokesperson Major Nelson says that the company is still working on pre-loading for digitally downloaded Xbox One games. In a response to a Reddit thread entitled “Xbox One Needs Pre-Loading Feature!”, Nelson wrote, “All I can say right now is that yes, we want this feature as well.”

When asked about a time frame Major Nelson declined to give specifics on the matter. In the past former Xbox exec Mark Whitten said that the feature would be supported on Xbox One in the future, but that it wouldn’t be ready for the console’s November launch. Source CVG
