If you’re feeling the need for some new maps, weapons and characters for the multiplayer portion of Mass Effect 3, then the ‘Rebellion’ DLC pack due out on 29 May for PS3 (30 May in Europe), Xbox 360 and PC may satisfy you. If you’re still waiting for BioWare to change the single player ending then this news will probably just annoy you.
‘Rebellion’ is the pack uncovered on the Sony Asia site in mid-May. The six new characters hinted at in that news post are as follows:
Vorcha Soldier
Vorcha Sentinel
Male Quarian Engineer
Male Quarian Infiltrator
Ex-Cerberus Vanguard
Ex-Cerberus Adept
You’ll also get two new maps (Firebase Jade and Firebase Goddess), alongside a few new weapons; the Reegar Carbine Shotgun, Krysae Sniper Rifle and Cerberus Harrier Assault Rifle.
Everyone with an ‘online pass’ will get this DLC for free (which, if you’re playing multiplayer, you probably have).
