Master of Orion Collector’s Edition comes with all MOO games and more

Master of Orion

Wargming’s reboot of the classic Master of Orion 4X strategy series is still in development but they are now ready to reveal what the Collector’s Edition will contain.

The CE will come with the first three games thrown in for free, a digital art book, a “modernised soundtrack”, an exclusive warlike race to the CE version called the Terran Khanate, a “retro art style graphic motif”, and most important of all Early Access when it becomes available.

MOO wasn’t known for its graphic prowess but the gameplay was superb. If you don’t want the fancy updated graphics then you’ll be able to apply a retro art style and replace the modern 3D spaceships which is pretty neat.

There’s still no release date for the game but this announcement does indicate that they’re getting a little closer to an Early Access version appearing. We’ll let you know when it’s ready to go and keep an eye on the Steam page for future updates.

If Wargaming get this reboot right then there could be a lot of late nights ahead.
