EA’s financials for the  third quarter highlighted the poor performance of Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and according to EA Labels’ president Frank Gibeau, the series is going to be taken out of their release rotation and given a rest. A relief for anyone who suffered Warfighter last year.
EA say that Battlefield will be back in the next financial year but there was no specific mention of which Battlefield is back, but we assume it will be Battlefield 4. Timing will no doubt dependent on the release of next-gen consoles and more details should surface around E3.
