Kalypso has announced that sleep-with-the-fishes-em-up mob strategy title Omerta: City of Gangsters has gone gold, and will reach retailers on 12 February. It appears that the game will be available earlier through the medium of digital downloading however, as Steam has it listed for 31 January (though it’s possible that’s just an error.)

In Omerta you’ll be expanding your gangster empire in 1920s Atlantic City through both strategic management and turn-based combat. First though, you’ll need to establish yourself in the criminal underworld and climb the ranks of mob hierarchy.

The game is being developed by Haemimont, the same team behind Tropico 3 and Tropico 4.
