Namco Classics Announced

Atari have announced the release of ‘Namco Museum DS’ for the, not surprisingly, DS.  The game will host a load of old skool classics such as Pac-Man, Dig Dug II and six more.

The games will utilise the touch screen, allowing the players to either use the double screen, or to play it like they would have played the classic game.

Of course, the DS wouldn’t be the DS without its wireless connection, and with up to four players able to take each other on in the addictive classics, there is bound to battling bedlam!

But it’s not only the DS getting special treatment. No.  The Wii too has its fair share of nostalgia coming its way in the shape of ‘Namco Museum Remix’ which has had a complete graphical makeover and has five remixed Namco arcade classics from ‘Pac’n Roll Remix’ to ‘Rally-X Remix’ as well as nine classic, untouched games (Galaxien, Dig Dug, Mappy, Xevious, Gaplus, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Mania and Cutie-Q.

The Wii version is set for release sometime in March and Namco Bandai ‘Namco Musuem DS’ should be hitting our shelves in February.
