New Star Wars title will debut at E3

On 4 June (just ahead of E3 proper), Lucasarts plans to unveil a brand new Star Wars series. Spike TV has rights to the ‘first look’, but no doubt footage will follow online about two minutes later. More of the title will then be shown off during E3 itself.
It isn’t clear if this new title has anything to do with the registering of the ‘Star Wars 1313’ trademark by Lucasarts discovered at the beginning of the month, but there’s a fair chance that it might.
This is very much being touted as the beginning of a new series, so that rules out a sequel to Jedi Knight, Battlefront, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter or even (sorry world) Kinect Star Wars.
