New Total War Game Outed As Shogun 2: Total War?

Creative Assembly’s next Total War game may have been outed as Shogun 2.We previously reported that a new Total War game which “eschews the gunpowder weaponry of recent Total War titles and gets back to basics” might be shown at E3, and now there’s some evidence to suggest it’s a Shogun sequel.According to Kotaku, Turkish site Oyungezer posted up that it has a 2:30pm E3 appointment to talk about Shogun 2: Total War – which has yet to be announced.Shogun: Total War was the very first Total War game, set in the Sengoku period of Japanese history. It was brilliant, and a sequel would be much appreciated, so fingers crossed. We’ll have more for you soon, we suspect.
