Multiplayer vampire-’em-up Nosgoth has swooped onto Steam Early Access.

The forthcoming free-to-play game is still in closed beta, but you can purchase access on Steam or on the official website now. There are a variety of packages available, all of which offer a bit more than “just” immediate beta access. The cheapest package is the Veteran pack for £11.99, and that offers you 4,000 runestones (the in-game currency, worth about $20 USD) in addition to a Veteran’s badge and early access. The most expensive is the £80.99 Immortal pack, which contains 30,000 runestones, an Immortal badge, a load of warchests, 10 friend invites, a shared XP booster, the ability to reserve a Warband name, a load of exclusive skins, and early access to a pair of classes.

Nosgoth is a free-to-play asymmetrical multiplayer action game set within the Legacy of Kain universe, in which a team of humans battles against a team of monstrous vampires. The humans have access to all sorts of weapons, while the vampires are capable of flying, and clambering buildings, and pouncing huge distances. Paul’s had a bit of a play; you can read his thoughts here or watch a video of him playing the title here.
