A brand new splash/landing page for Obsidian’s official site teases a forthcoming project, and links to a set of forums which state they are for the developer’s “next RPG endeavor”. There’s very little to go on so far, other than the project is super-secretly named ‘Project X’ and a couple of bits and pieces on the teaser image itself.
There’s a big 4 inside an Ouroborus symbol (which seems to just be a countdown number rather than a hint that this will be the fourth in a previous series), and two lines of quoted dialogue.
“What do the words mean?”
“Nothing. The Dirge of EÃr Glanfath is sound without form, a lone voice crying out in mourning because it must.”
Not a great deal to go on there, then.
A further quote, found within the website’s source code reads: “To tenderness, fellowship. To fellowship, vigilance. So bring we all to the Night Market. I am the Spindle of Esenath. Know me by my light and stand with me in darkness.”
That’s not much help either. Looks like we’ll just have to wait this one out.
