Just how small can a powerful gaming PC get? Origin have a bash with the CHRONOS.

Powerful PCs are not exactly small but Origin PC are having a bash with the ORIGIN CHRONOS micro-tower. This latest offering comes with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Z and 12GB of GDDR5 Memory which they say gives “smooth frame rates and at stunning 4K resolutions”.

Features they’re touting include:

  • Small and Slim Micro-Tower Design
  • Vertical or Horizontal Orientation
  • 4K-Gaming Ready
  • Dual-GPUs In a Single Graphics Card
  • 12 GB of GDDR5 Memory
  • ORIGIN PC Professional CPU and GPU Overclocking
  • ORIGIN PC FROSTBYE 120 Sealed-Liquid Cooling

“So far, 4K gaming PCs have been required to be in large tower cases with multiple video cards.  It’s amazing to see that in such a short amount of time we are already offering a true 4K gaming PC in a micro tower that can sit vertically on your desk, or horizontally in your living room .”  said Kevin Wasielewski ORIGIN PC CEO. ”The CHRONOS micro tower with a 12GB NVIDIA TITAN Z is the most gaming power I have ever seen in such a small chassis.”

The system does look pretty sleek and to demonstrate the size they’ve placed a can next to it, which makes it actually look quite tall. You can configure the system on the Origin site but it will take some time getting the right chasis, power supply and graphics card configuration. Just don’t be too surprised at the price when you’re done, this is not exactly PC gaming on a tight budget.
