Paradox Announces Cowboy Shooter For PC, Consoles

Paradox Interactive has announced that it will be publishing Lead & Gold: Gangs of the Wild West on PC and console.Lead & Gold is a third-person multiplayer shooter set in the Wild West and developed by Fatshark, and will be the first title Paradox publishes on console.Players can choose from one of four character classes and then head out to battle the opposing team, with a Synergy system in place to reward players who make the extra effort to work together. The game is objective oriented, but has “genre specific game modes” and mechanics designed to be easy to understand. The other two plus points, of course, are that it’s going to be cheap, and that it looks absolutely bloody lovely. Check out the smattering of screenshots below, and have a look in our gallery for more.Lead & Gold: Gangs of the Wild West is due out in first quarter 2010. No word on which consoles it’ll be out on, but we imagine it’ll be Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
