Paradox Announces Fort Zombie

Paradox Interactive has announced Fort Zombie at PAX.The game, being developed by Kerberos Productions, is billed as a casual action-RPG in which players choose one of three buildings in the town of Piety, Indiana and fortify it into something that can withstand the encroaching zombies hordes.Players choose daily tasks, scout around for supplies (food, fuel, generators, tools, guns, and ammunition are given as examples) and rescue and train up other survivors all while building up their stats and home base. Some zombies have special abilities but so too do your survivor colleagues, with certain rescues granting your extra abilities. And the game should be replayable, as the town is randomly generated based on a “mix-and-match tile system.”The game is due out through “all major digital distribution channels” in Autumn, although it appears the US will also be getting a DVD release priced at $14.99 USD.We like zombies and we like replayable casual action-RPGs, so colour us intrigued.
