It’s going to be a big day for Grinding Gear Games on 23 January when they invite the masses to join their ARPG Path of Exile.
The game has been in development for quite some time and I can’t even remember when the closed beta started, it’s been that long. GGG are a small development studio and what they have created is pretty impressive so far. PoE looks like it’s going to fill some of the gaps that games such as Diablo 3 and Torchlight have failed to fill, mainly PvP, itemisation and an insane and interesting skill system.
With the beta starting in a matter of days, a new video has been released which also features some of the new Act III content that’s being added. For the first time players will be able to enter the city of Sarn and also not worry about their character being wiped. Hoorah!
