Read the original GTA design doc

Programmer Mike Daily has released the original design document for Race ‘n’ Chase, the game that would eventually become Grand Theft Auto.
Viewable now via Daily’s Flickr account, the 11 page document dated 22 March 1995 depicts in-depth plans for Race ‘n’ Chase.
Included in the plans are proposals for release platforms, narrative, gameplay, visual style and, among other things, technical suggestions for data storage and compression.
If you do decide to read it (and i recommend that you do) bear in mind that to progress to the next page you need to click the ‘newer’ button within Flickr.
