Remedy trailer tease was just a recruitment drive

Unless this is all part of some elaborate meta-level Alternate Reality Game, Remedy’s hints at a new game announcement were actually just a recruitment drive. The ‘new trailer’ mentioned in Sam Lake’s little montage is actually a blooper reel from Quantum Break.

It’s not a bad video, especially if you enjoy absurd rag-doll physics, but it’s not what people were hoping for. No Alan Wake, no Max Payne, just a link to a careers section of the Remedy website. But hey, maybe you want to work for Remedy. If so, they appear to be hiring.

Here’s the accompanying trailer, featuring a much funnier version of Quantum Break. If anybody finds a super secret backwards message inside that says “actually we totally are making Alan Wake 2“, then let me know.
