Resident Evil Revelations 2 updated with online Raid Mode

Patch 3.0 for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has hit, bringing with it online co-op for Raid Mode and harder Code Red missions.

As of this 150MB-ish update, you’ll be able to enjoy Raid Mode with other people over that magical thing called the internet. Not only that, but the difficulty of Raid Mode’s Code Red missions has been increased, providing more of a challenge for those who want it.

According to the patch notes: “After applying the update, you’ll be able to test your might against these harder stages just by being online.” I’m not sure if that means they’re online co-op only, or if you get access to them by playing while connected to the internet, or what. Your guess is as good as mine.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is Capcom’s episodic attempt at a Resi game, and I quite liked what little I’ve had time to play. They seem pretty dedicated to patching up the PC version and making sure it’s got all the bells and whistles people want, too, which is something I’m always happy to see.
