Ryzom Patch 1.9.0 Announced

The developers of Ryzom have announced the details of Patch 1.9.0. This update will introduce two main things; a new marauder boss called “Dante the Teaser”, and a new feature called Basic Occupations. The aim of these occupations is to give players more opportunity for roleplay, and to give them a use for the the skills they have accumulated over the years. Devs hope they’ll also give players something new to aim for. Occupations will provide special regenerative items, which can be obtained by collecting and processing the correct components. These items will give a boost to the regeneration of life, sap, stamina, focus and so on. As players develop their occupations, they’ll be able to create more powerful items. See the official announcement for more info.
