Same sex marriages in Skyrim

But, Bethesda don’t want to make a big deal out of it.
Confirmed by Bethesda’s PR and marketing boss Peter Hines, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will allow players to marry characters of the same sex.
When directly asked by a fan of the series whether such a thing would be possible and why Bethesda have been so “hush-hush” on the topic, Hines replied:

“Not hush hush, just not making a huge deal out of it. You can marry anyone.”
He went on to expand on the statement by saying:
“Sorry, should clarify. Not any NPC, just mean any male or female. Doesn’t matter what you’re playing.”
Liberal values in videogames… discuss.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due for an Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC release on 11 November, 2011.
