Following work on Silent Hill: Downpour, Czech studio Vatra Games is at risk of being closed down.

The news comes as the developer’s parent company Kuju Entertainment are reassessing their assets and the status of Vatra Games.

“The new management team at Kuju have been conducting a strategic review of all aspects of the business,” a Kuju statement explains.

“As part of this process, the on-going business activities of the Vatra studio are currently under review. However, at this stage, no decisions have yet been made.”

Vatra has only been in business since 2009 and, in addition to Silent Hill: Downpour, released Rush ‘n Attack: Ex-Patriot on XBLA/PSN.
