It’d be terrible to live in a world in which I couldn’t sneak my way through some England-inspired areas, and occasionally run and hide from robotic huntsmen. Fortunately, if I hang on for one more month, I – and everyone else who plonked down a pre-order for Big Robot’s spiffing-looking Sir, You Are Being Hunted – will be able to do just that.
The news comes via the latest update video, which is primarily focused on showing off the Fens biome but also contains a date for when everyone who has pre-ordered (or backed the Kickstarter) will get access to the game’s alpha. That date, ladies and gentlemen, is 19 August.
Said alpha will include three of the biomes from the full game – Fens, Rural, and Mountain – each offering different terrain and challenges. Once the alpha’s racing through wild, Big Robot will turn their attention to finishing up the final biomes, adding in the rest of the NPCs, and so on and so forth.
