Six Day Z screens lurch into the open

Day Z - 3

Bohemia Interactive have released six screenshots from what I’m assuming is the forthcoming stand-alone version of open-world zombie-evader Day Z.

There’s a mix of environments and atmospheres within: two are darker screens, one in a ruined city and one next to a wrecked ship; two are external daytime shots in or near pretty looking towns and forests; and two are internal shots, one in a bedroom and one in what looks (to my untrained eye) to be a hospital corridor.

Still no word on when we’ll actually see Day Z‘s stand-alone version, but if these screens are anything to go by it’s certainly looking a lot sharper than the mod.
