Sixense will add PlayStation Move support to Portal 2

Using motion controls in Portal 2 is currently an expensive business. You have to shell out for the special Sixense-developed MotionPack DLC and then buy a Razer Hydra PC motion controller to even be able to play it. With all those other console-based motion control devices around at the moment, that never seemed to make much sense.

Sixense agrees, which is why they’re bringing PlayStation Move support to the game and re-launching the MotionPack DLC (as ‘In Motion’) through the PlayStation Network.

This ‘In Motion’ campaign features 20 levels for Portal 2, featuring new motion-centric puzzles and abilities like “1-to-1 control of objects, Portal Surfing (moving and reorienting placed portals) and scaling cubes”.

There’s no release date or price on this just yet, but you can at least watch the following trailer.
