Skyrim named GOTY at Game Developers Choice Awards

Last night saw the 2012 Game Developers Choice Awards take place in San Francisco, with Bethesda’s Skyrim taking top honours in the form of the Game of the Year gong.
Skyrim beat off competition from fellow nominees Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman: Arkham City and Portal 2
Despite not walking away with the top award, Portal 2 was recognised in the Best Design, Best Audio and Best Narrative categories.
It was also a good night for Bastion creators Supergiant Games as they bagged the award for Best Debut Studio and Best Downloadable game, both of which are well deserved.
