Smash every pane of glass in Max Payne 3 [Video]

If there’s one thing I’ve learned for sure from Rockstar’s latest Max Payne 3 trailer, it’s that no pane of glass will be safe from the player’s wrath. Whether people are shooting at you, or you’re returning fire, or maybe if you just accidentally dive through a plate glass screen, it’ll be a good idea to bring a stock of bandaids with you.
As well as gratuitous defenestration, the trailer shows off the transitional techniques that move players between action bits and cut-scenes. These use comic-strip style panelling, in an attempt to keep the flow of the game during narrative segments (rather than bugging out to a loading screen).
We also get another look at some of the environments Max will be breaking windows in.
Max Payne 3 is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 on 18 May, and PC on 1 June. Have a read of John’s preview of the game, here.
