South Park: The Stick of Truth pre-orders open on Steam

South Park The Stick of Truth

Ubisoft have opened up pre-orders for South Park: The Stick of Truth on Steam, meaning that you can plonk down £39.99 for the game right now. Yes, £39.99. Much as it looks like it’ll be an entertaining title, for that price, you might think about waiting for reviews.

This also means that the official PC release date is, I guess, set at 6 March. I expect a delay within a week.

Pre-ordering nets you the Ultimate Fellowship content pack. This contains four costumes, each of which has a special ability: the Necromancer Sorcerer does bonus fire damage, the Rogue Assassin gets extra gold, the Ranger Elf does more weapon damage, and the Holy Defender has higher defences. Will this help much? Will South Park: The Stick of Truth be good? Will Ubisoft delay the PC version for Quality Reasons? I have no idea! Hopefully we’ll find out the answers to all of these before too long.
