Square Enix Reveals Dungeon Siege 3

Square Enix has announced Dungeon Siege 3 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.The announcement revealed Dungeon Siege 3 will be developed by Obsidian Entertainment, who in turn will be supervised by original developer of the series Gas Powered Games.”It is an honor and a pleasure to be part of the legend of Dungeon Siege,” said Feargus Urquhart, CEO and co-founder of Obsidian Entertainment.He added, “This partnership with Square Enix is a milestone for the franchise and Obsidian, and the qualities of both companies in terms of scenario will be visible throughout the game “It is the first time Dungeon Siege is coming to a console and will feature full character customisation including a choice of classes to play as all of whom come with unique abilities and skills.Dungeon Siege 3 will support four-player co-op with both local and online multiplayer. For those wanting to play the game single player your character will be able to recruit companions to help you on your quest. Different characters will be made available depending on your alliances and enemies and will all have their own opinions on the world around them as well as specialised skills.Square Enix also confirmed the world will change and develop depending on your choices made in game and also evolves over time. The decisions your character makes will mould the story, as well as impacting the way different races and settlements act around you.Dungeon Siege 3 will release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC later this year, screenshots can be found below:
