Star Citizen patch 2.5 released on live servers

CIG has launched the Star Citizen patch 2.5 onto the live servers this evening.

After a spell on the PTU, the latest update is available to everyone and brings some new features to the alpha build. In this update, there’s the addition of the GrimHEX outlaw base location which means there’s new locations to check out. The new landing system has also been implemented for easier landings, 2.0 labelled system changes to items and player health, the Reliant

The new landing system has also been implemented for easier landings, 2.0 labelled system changes to items and player health, the Reliant KORE, Argo MPUV (Cargo Variant), and Argo MPUV (Passenger Variant) are flight ready, and there’s keybinding changes and keybind mapping for X52 Pro HOTAS.

The next update which will be 2.6 which will include Star Marine based on what we were told at Gamescom. Beyond that, it will be the 3.0 release at the end of the year which should bring this star system to completion. We hope.
